Hajdú Gabona
A milling heritage rooted in Hajdúság.
Hajdú Gabona carries the identity of a region where grain and bread hold a special place. Its flour family, recognised by the csikós horseman motif, connects the Hajdú name with local tradition and milling knowledge passed between generations.
A history built over time
The tradition continued by Hajdú includes Debrecen’s István mill, whose flours received awards at the London Exhibition of 1862. Today, the Hajdú product family is associated with the Csiha mill in Hajdúnánás and the Berettyóújfalu unit. That history gives the products an identity beyond their flour code.
The technology behind the flour
The miller’s expertise starts with wheat. Blending several wheat varieties and resting flour before delivery are features of Hajdú production. Choosing and preparing the raw material complements milling, with attention to the characteristics sought in the finished product.
Historic awards at the London Exhibition
Debrecen’s István mill won awards in every flour category at the London Exhibition of 1862. These distinctions belong to that historic mill; Hajdú Gabona continues the associated tradition. The Hajdú product family is also listed in Hungary’s national values register.
